Privacy policy

When handling personal data, we act in accordance with the legal order of the Czech Republic and directly applicable regulations of the European Union, in particular Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, as amended, Act No. 480/2004 Coll. and in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation on certain information society services and amending certain laws, as amended.

Who is the controller of your data?

You grant your consent to M.A.T. Group, s.r.o., ID No.: 26367505, with registered office at Na Roudné 324/176, 301 62 Plzeň, registered in the public register kept at the Regional Court in Plzeň, Section C, Insert 15668/KSPL, to process personal data as a controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR Regulation in accordance with the terms below.

When is it not necessary to give consent to the processing of personal data?

We may process personal data without your consent for the following purposes only:

  • To perform a contract for the provision of a service or product
  • To comply with legal obligations imposed on us by generally binding legislation.
  • Processing within the framework of legitimate interest (e.g. for direct marketing, ensuring safety and security of life).

For what purpose do we manage personal data and for how long?

The data may be used for commercial and marketing purposes, i.e. to maintain a database of website users and to offer goods and services, for as long as the legal reason for this processing and use of personal and other data lasts. In other words, we collect your personal data for the purpose of enabling you to use our services and to keep you informed about new developments. Contact and enquiry form – we collect data from the form for the purpose of joint negotiations and the possibility of creating an offer or responding to your enquiry. Such processing is permitted by Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation. We will process the personal data for the duration of the contract negotiations or for a maximum of 1 year after sending your message, unless you consent to further processing. We may use identification and address data in accordance with the so-called legitimate interest for the production of internal statistics. We use the anonymised output from these statistics for the purpose of improving our services, including analysing user behaviour and marketing. We process personal data collected through cookies on the basis of your consent (which you can give by confirming it on the web interface after you have been notified of the use of cookies and have had the opportunity to read this Policy). We are entitled to process the personal data collected through cookies even if you continue to use the web interface after you have been notified of the processing of such personal data.We use the personal data collected through cookies for the purposes of providing user support, improving our services, including analysing user behaviour and marketing. Any personal data provided for the above purposes is provided entirely voluntarily and by expressing their consent through active interaction – for example, by ticking the relevant box, continuing with the action leading to the submission of data, confirming the relevant button or on the basis of legitimate interest. How is my data protected?

We do our utmost to secure all personal data we process against leakage or theft. For this reason, we restrict their manipulation, copying, transfer or access to them only for the strictly necessary purposes for which you have given us your consent or where that purpose is defined by law.

In addition, our website has an HTTPS protocol (valid SSL certificate) for encrypted connection between the website and the user, which minimizes the possibility of theft of personal data during data transmission (registration, login, form submission, etc.) The website is hosted on the company’s secure servers:

Who all has access to personal data?

The processing of personal data is carried out by the Administrator within the meaning of the ZOOÚ, but personal data may also be processed for the Administrator by other entities (as processors or administrators):

  • Software provider
  • ANT studio s.r.o., ID: 29113229, registered office Slovanská alej 2182/30, 326 00 Plzeň, registered with the Registry Court in Plzeň, Section C, Insert 25698.

Alternatively, we may also entrust other data processors or persons (such as carriers or other persons involved in the performance of the contract and our obligations), but only to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract. We do not transfer personal data to any other person. The personal and other data collected is fully secured against misuse. Personal data will be processed in electronic form in an automated manner or in hard copy form in a non-automated manner. Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union.

What are my rights in relation to data protection?

  • Request information from us about which of your personal data we process.
  • Request an explanation from us regarding the processing of your personal data.
  • Request access to this data and have it updated or corrected.
  • Request that we erase this personal data.
  • Request the transfer of the data.
    The right to be informed of a personal data breach in certain cases.

You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data or the controller’s failure to comply with its obligations under the GDPR with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection, located at Pplk. Sochor 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.

We may modify or update the Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective upon posting on this page
